The lower level of progesterone may cause miscarriage. The imbalance in estrogen and progesterone can cause problematic PMS symptoms. A healthy level of progesterone is essential for strong bones, better heart health, and a healthy libido. Excess of progesterone results in fatigue, dizziness, and frequent urge to eat.

Testosterone:

 One of the prime sex hormones in males, testosterone is responsible for strong muscles, strength, and stamina in males along with bone density, libido, and overall well-being. This prominent male sex hormone is present in females as well. The deficiency of testosterone can cause fatigue, mood swings, low libido, and irritability whereas a high amount can cause aggression, depression, and Erectile dysfunction or impotence.

Pregnenolone:

Pregnenolone (P5) is a steroid hormone. It is produced from cholesterol and it is a source of other steroid hormones like progesterone, estrogen, testosterone, and DHEA. The imbalance of the Pregnenolone can cause mood imbalances, and poor cognitive, stress.

DHEA: 

One of the most prevalent steroid hormones in the human body, DHEA is the source of testosterone and progesterone. Secreted by the adrenal gland, the level of DHEA diminishes with aging and it causes lethargy, mood swings, and slow cognitive activity. It plays a crucial role in protein synthesis, cardiovascular health, and healthy bones. The high level of DHEA is responsible for acne, facial hair, skin rashes and liver problem.
